16 Blocks

There's exactly one thing that's remarkable about Richard Donner's new action thriller "16 Blocks": even at the age of 51, Bruce Willis still has the coolness and charisma to make an utterly predictable, implausible and hackneyed story mildly entertaining. That the film, especially the cinematography, is solidly executed, helps, I guess.

Oh, yeah, it's this Bruce Willis stereotype character again. ;-)

You know, he mostly plays these losers [alcoholics with broken families] who get into trouble by accident and then become the great heroes of the nation.

But, oh well, that's still fun, I seem to like this guy a lot. :-)
